The RADIO CLUB PARAGUAYO issues the following awards to any amateur or SWL, for confirmed contacts or reports, according to the rules of each award. A contact with a ZP station is mandatory for any award. Contacts with mobile stations (ZP0) before 1991 will be acceptable for the awards. All diplomas are issued on a mixed basis (no band or mode separation), except for those where all contacts were made on digital modes (RTTY, Packet, Amtor, Pactor, SSTV, or any other computer generated signal), or via satellite. Send certified list (GCR rules), please NO QSL CARDS, with 10 IRCs or 5 US Dollars for EACH award to:

DEPARTAMENTOS DEL PARAGUAY (DDP),is issued for contacts with one fixed or portable station located at the nation's capital city, and each of the following departments in which Paraguay is divided: ZP1: Boquerón, Alto Paraguay; ZP2: Presidente Hayes; ZP3: Concepción, Amambay; ZP4: San Pedro, Canindeyú; ZP5: Asuncion, the capital of the country; ZP6: Cordillera, Paraguarí, Central; ZP7: Guairá, Caaguazú, Caazapá; ZP8: Misiones, Ñeembucú; ZP9: Itapúa, Alto Paraná. Class A: 18 depts -Class B: 15 depts - Class C: 12 depts

PREFIJOS DEL MERCOSUR (MERCOSUR - PX):is issued for confirmed contacts with stations located in the countries which are part of the Mercado Común del Sur - MERCOSUR trade agreement (LU-Argentina, PY-Brazil, ZP-Paraguay and CX-Uruguay), after January 1st, 1995. At least one prefix of each country is required. Special event and contest prefixes are acceptable for this award. Class A: 60 prefixes - Class B: 40 prefixes - Class C: 20 prefixes

ZP1: is issued by The Radio Club Filadelfia - ZP1FF (R.C.P.'s affiliate), for confirmed contacts with different ZP stations located on the first call area (ZP1). A contact with ZP1FF is mandatory. South american stations should contact 30 stations. Rest of the world: 10 stations. |

FORTINES DEL CHACO PARAGUAYO: is issued by The Radio Club Filadelfia (R.C.P.'s affiliate) for confirmed contacts with stations located on the following Chaco War (1932-1935) forts (outposts) : Boqueron, Pitiantuta, Toledo, Km.145, Km.160, Km.180, Guachalla, Lagerenza, Campo Via, Nanawa, Trebol, Isla Poi, Tte. Montania, Camacho (Mcal. Estigarribia), Tte. Enciso, Tte. Martinez, Tte. Rojas Silva. The contact with Fort Boqueron is mandatory. South american stations should contact 8 forts. Rest of the world: 4 forts.
